What a great week it's been! A huge thanks for your incredible support and constructive feedback on our major v4.0 launch, aka Active Clubs.
Our community is expanding at lightning speed, and we're matching that pace to build and refine your active-life social network experience. What’s new with version 4.04?
Catch up with the 4.0 launch or update now.
Tagging friends
You now have the ability to tag your friend in comments and posts! Simply type [@] followed by their username - it's that easy. They'll receive a notification when tagged, and if you'd rather not hear about your own tags, you can switch off those notifications in Settings.
Step into the Augmented Reality
Experience your friends' routes in AR (Augmented Reality) for a completely new perspective on their journey. Just tap the AR button from the 3D route view of their post. You even have the option to record a video and share it when viewing your own posts.
Broaden Your Movement with New Activity Types
We are thrilled to support the diverse ways people keep active. Today, we're introducing three more. Rucking, a modern twist on a classic exercise, involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack. For the bike commuters among you, we have the Commuter Ride. And lastly, Desk Walking, perfect for those working from home but still keen on getting their steps in.
Invite Friends and Score a Free Andi Moves T-Shirt
Send an invite to 10 friends to join Any Distance and earn the ADAC_0015, an Andi Moves t-shirt, absolutely free! This tee features quick-drying Cool DRI technology that expertly wicks away sweat, ensuring you stay fresh and dry. Plus, the modern, moisture-wicking Cool Comfort fabric and ribbed, lay-flat collar promise an impeccable fit. Locate this on your Friends tab.
Turbo Charged Reactions
We've enhanced how you can show your support swiftly and effortlessly with post reactions. Access them right from the heart button on posts. And of course, you can still tap and hold to bring up the react'owheel.
Behind-the-Scenes Improvements
We've been hard at work fine-tuning the backend of Any Distance, making it faster, more robust, and better. This includes fixing issues with total synced distance (email us at support@anydistance.co for a reset), pesky GPS lost notifications, and adding support for phone numbers based in China, Mauritius, Indonesia, and Hungary.
Exciting developments are on the horizon in the upcoming weeks and months!

With love, Luke and the team.
