Have you met Justin?

We caught up with ADAC member, Justin Ehrecke about his streak of streaks, the bits that keep him motivated, and practical advice for anyone looking to be more active consistently.

And, today, he hits day 1000 of running every single day.

Kick that sticky goal to the curb

Prioritizing mental health in 2023 might mean embracing flexibility.

On new year resolutions, Sabrina Romanoff, Psy.D., a Harvard-trained clinical psychologist, professor, researcher, and Forbes Health Advisory Board member says, β€œDo not hold these resolutions rigidly. Accommodating change and new revisions to resolutions is adaptive.”

She also suggests:

  1. Categorize goals between short and long term

  2. Find congruence in goals

  3. Anticipate the obstacles while setting goals

  4. Be flexible

  5. Find a way to transform your goals into values

A mountain you don't have to climb πŸ”

Countless studies, journals, and experts cite the importance of rest, so snag some sleep, stretch it out, get a massage, open up a book, light up a candle β€” however you do it, rest.

And, if you're going with the candle bit, might we entice you with our first-ever Not So Active Club goody?

AKA, the Mountain(-scented candle) that doesn't require climbing, only lighting.

And, if you Track or sync a 10-minute+ Mindful Activity, you'll get $10 off.

A shiny new medal, just for you

Log a dance that's as long (or longer!) as Miley's Flowers (3 minutes, 21 seconds) before 11:59 pm (your local time) on Thursday, January 26 to earn this seriously shiny, miscellaneous medal πŸ’ƒπŸ’
